INSTALLATIONS

In Ticca's work, painting mainly lies on canvasses, as well as on walls and sculptures. At times though, it escapes the surface, translating itself on different materials. While making a project for his installations, the artist reflects upon the preexisting architecture and interiors, in order to create a circular work of art. Each installation is a construction and a decostruction of the surrounding space. As a result artifacts, walls, and light itself contribute to provide a synaesthetic perception of the space, where the spectator can enter what can be described as a denkraum: a space for reflection, both spiritual and intellectual, redesigned to invite to recollect energies and thoughts.
